A little slice of local life in a great location
Pros: The family who own the coffee store and the room above it are super friendly, laidback, and the breakfast they serve is great. The room has a very cosy local apartment feel but is both surprisingly spacious and quiet for being on the main road (earplugs provided if you’re a very light sleeper). The surrounding area is perfect for exploring on foot and enjoying the boutiques, bars, and cafes around Chinatown, Talat Noi and Song Wat Rd.
Cons: The bathroom is located across the hallway, separate to the room, and has glass screen door which, although obscured, still feels a little less private than just having a standard wooden door. This wasn’t a negative for us, it’s just a heads up for the owners to consider a little more privacy. Otherwise, we absolutely loved our stay.

Pros: This is a great wee spot in Bangkok! We loved the location, there’s lots of bars and cafes around, close to china town and to the MRT. We were impressed with the room, it was clean comfortable and appeared larger to us than in the listing photos. The hosts were very accomodating and gave us great local recommendations. Lastly (but not least), great coffee and breakfast.

I found soft rest, kind company, and small morning comforts that made the place feel like home.
Pros: I slept so well during my first two nights that I decided to stay for two more. May and her staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, and there was something quietly refreshing about being in this type of accommodation. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, everything working just as it should. Every morning began with a flat white on the house, and somehow that small gesture made the place feel even more like home. Thank you, May. Truly recommended.
Cons: I have no complaints

Comfty room in great location - good value for money
Pros: Great location. Much bigger space than the pictures suggest! Air con was great and bed was very comfty. Great coffee downstairs and lovely owners!
Cons: It’s a bit dark (but worth it to keep the noise and heat out). Bathroom is private and okay.

A great location
Pros: We loved our stay at the Cozy Room at The Coffee Store Charoenkrung - we loved the location and the neighbourhood and our hosts - absolutely lovely Thai family - and the breakfast they served in their tiny cafe downstairs. It was perfect for our two-night three-day stay in Bangkok - we felt very much like locals wandering around the neighbourhood in circles for three days in a row :) That was the best past - plus being able to catch the boat and go up and down the river. We have been to Bangkok a few times previously and were happy to skip some of the main tourist 'attractions'. This place was perfect for us and two nights was just enough, as walking around Bangkok in the heat is exhausting and the room, being on a busy road, gets quite noisy - but it's not a problem for a short stay.

Cosy room with great coffee and warm vibes!
Pros: The cosy, spacious room, May and his family, the yummy breakfast and delicious coffee, the warm hospitality, the attention to small details like the charger and earplugs, the convenient location to the main attractions, good food and lovely bars, and the overall vibe of the neighbourhood.
Cons: The bathroom could use some extra care. The water from the shower doesn't drain well, and the drain gets smelly over time.

Perfect!
Pros: Nice big room. Aircon, tv and fridge. Sofa and large bed.Bathroom for own use at end of corridor. The room is located above the small coffee shop. Bangkok is a busy city so you may hear road noise although ear plugs are provided. The room was perfect for our 2 nights whilst we recovered from a long flight. Location is about 5 mins walk from Chinatown.

Amazing time in the heart of Bangkok.
Pros: Amazing hosts, we could feel like a part of family, even though we stayed only for 2 nights. The room is indeed very cozy, and our privacy was secured.
