The family-run The Myth - Sud Sathorn is a boutique hotel located in a renovated building with over 100 years of history. Located just a 1-minute walk from Sapan Taksin BTS Skytrain Station and Sathorn Pier, guests can find various food shops and visit the historical sites within a short ride. Fitted with genuine teak furnishings, all rooms come with a flat-screen TV, air conditioning and fresh towels. Fabulous, great food, very welcoming and extremely comfortable bed and very spacious and clean rooms.

Pros: Location, location, location. We are a family of 5 travelling with young children - the location was perfect for the train, the boat, the shop, the ATM. The staff were very friendly and welcoming - we loved that the owners of the hotel care so much about the hotel and their guests. It was a very family feel. Our sons ate so much at breakfast the food was so good. Again it was lovely that the owners asked if they wanted more to eat and recognised that they were enjoying the food so much. Just very family, caring feel - which was nice for us as we have been travelling away from our family for quite a few weeks, so nice to have a feeling of being looked after.

Cons: Nothing to not like. I would say bigger bath towels would be good - but it’s not really anything to not like. Everything was great.

Pros: Contrary other renovated hotels, they put most effort on the rooms, not the lobby. Historical building, hotel run by family. Very nice and helpful. Everything was clean and working in our rooms. The rooms have new, sealed, windows and I wasn't noisy for me. Yes, they offer free ear plugs be aware if it offends you ;) The area is super communicated with main pier and skyrail junction, but also you have all the restaurants, services and all Bangkok offers down the street.

Cons: The entrance/lobby experience could be better.

Perfect stay in Bangkok

Pros: The host and her family are exceptionally nice, friendly and helpful. The Location was very good for us, it is near bts skytrain station and pier. Room was very tidy and nice.
