Family van Genderen and del Prado

Pros: Hotel de Bangkok is close to shopping malls, Big C and others, Close to pratunam market,trainstation Makkasan, Hotel staff is very friendly and help you with everything, Hotelrooms are clean, Breakfast is good! We stay here 4 times with family in this hotel, Nothing to complain!!!

Pros: Staffs are very nice and helpful. The room is very clean

Cons: Im not comfortable with the interconnecting doors. And even the main door doesnt have a safety double lock inside which will give us peace of mind. I constantly wakes up if I hears a click or anything. Heavy traffic within the area is really bad due to construction.

Great stay

Pros: Hotel is at walking distance of platinum and central world shopping mall. There’s a great salon massage that is near the hotel we had massage there every days. Hotel was clean.

Very comfortable and good location

Pros: It is in a quiet location but walking distance from Central World, Siem center, Siem paragon, Platinum fashion mall. We had a room with balcony so we enjoyed morning tea in the balcony. The rooms are cleaned daily. The laundry service just next to hotel is very convenient for travelers. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful.

Cons: Can’t think of anything which I did not like.

Pros: Staff is friendly and helpful. Location wise near to ARL accessible by walking distance. The traffic around is quite jam due to MRT construction. Other than that all good :)

All things considered, Hotel de Bangkok remains an excellent place to stay.

Pros: We're returning guests, over the years. So, obviously, we're quite content with HdB. The breakfast is wonderful, it has always been so. It's so tempting, that it makes you eat so much more than intended for the morning. The balcony rooms are the best. The WiFi is acceptable- I guess it's hard to provide enough bandwidth for so many guests without serious investments. After all, the rooms prices are quite convenient. The location would have been very good, as it always was, but there are heavy construction works going on in the vicinity (for subway extensions) and the traffic is bad enough. But, on the other side, when finalised, more connections will be available. The personnel is at the highest level. Thai people are always pleasant and helpful, the HdB is a great example of that.

Cons: The WiFi. It works, but it could be better.
