Fab pricing, fab accommodation, lovely pool area and friendly, helpful staff
Pros: We had a 2 bed/2 bath suite in the 33rd floor. Was fab.
Cons: It’s a bit out of town, but we knew that. Has a lounge and kitchen area but no glasses, plates, bowls or cutlery. Not sure why. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay

Overall happy with the stay
Pros: Love the location - super central, can get anywhere easily. And wow, the balcony view is 🔥
Cons: Bathroom amenities could do with some TLC - they're getting a bit worn out. Would be great to freshen up the interior decor too

A fine hotel that needs some upkeep to be great once again.
Pros: The rooms are large and comfortable, decent bed and facilities in the rooms. I really likes the bar at the top - I went every night of my stay to wind down (although expensive perhaps). The pool was actually lovely to use, and although the gym equipment squeaks and rattles with age - it was quiet and functional. The walk to Chong Nonsi BTS was fine - but if your intention is to be travelling to other parts of the city constantly, there are better options for BTS proximity for the price, as I found out.
Cons: Both balcony doors were pretty awful, no seals remaining for soun and the locks barely worked, so the noise from the street (on the 34th floor) was enough to ruin my first few days sleep until I resorted to wearing ear plugs. I realised this even more when I moved hotels and had none of these problems. I did see a few small cockroaches in the room, which was a bad sign. The fixtures and fittings were just in a state of requiring repairs, door locks had seen better days, wardrobe doors misaligned - I had the impression that repairs have slipped over the years and thats across the whole building.

Good location, price and food
Pros: The staff were wonderful and gracious. The 1 bed apartment was very nice. The breakfast selection was very good, catering for all tastes. 10 mins walk to monorail. Very reasonable price compared with the UK.
Cons: The Zoom Bar on the roof was closed for renovation.

Had a good time! We really liked the view
Pros: All of the public areas were clean and looked good!
Cons: The room would need a bit of renovation. Some of the parts were a bit worn out but not too badly

Great value for what you paid for the room
Pros: Rooms were large/spacious with complementary fizzy drinks and snacks. Breakfast had something for everyone (even has a Pho/Noodle bar). View from the higher floors is pretty awesome. Pool and facilities looked clean. Staff were very polite and accommodating.
Cons: The wife and I aren't super picky people, so nothing from what I'm posting below really bothered us. Just letting you know what I noticed. Area is in the Business district. Showers were old/worn - the heads definitely needed replacing (squirting water up instead of down). Tables and counters need to be cleaned better. You can see smears/watermarks everywhere. Top floor (40th floor) skybar is currently closed for maintenance. There is no real Sunset view from rooms or the 38th floor bar/restaurant because the nextdoor building blocking the sunset. I'm assuming the view would have been fine if the 40th floor was still open.
