Baan Farang

Perfect place to stay for us

Pros: It was clean and comfortable. 5 minute walk to 7/11 and a few street food stalls to eat from.

Cons: It was a little out of the way for walking to where we wanted to go, but taxi's were cheap enough.

Pros: Great place to stay! It's not fancy, but it's clean and has everything you need and I slept really well. But most important of all, the host was super helpful and kind. I went out of town for a few days and could leave my suitcase there, for a small fee. When I got back to Bangkok and stayed somewhere else, I was sick and he helped me with getting my suitcase delivered, and even sent me links to products that helps for food poisoning. Would stay again.

Home away from home

Pros: Very spacious and clean, with a cozy homely feeling and all the amenities one could need. Excellent value for money.The staff was always so quick to help and reply to messages. All in all, I can't imagine finding a better guesthouse. I know that in 3 weeks in Thailand we didn't. So we would gladly return here. Thank you for everything!

Cons: Not my favourite location, but still a short ride to all major places of interest, so no problem.

Pros: It's a home, it's a hotel or a mix of both but what really puts it apart from all the others in the market is how thoughtful they've been about organizing and facilitating it. From the small slogans here and there to the chairs and tables and TV and record player and board and card games and kitchen and the spaces divided for each room in the kitchen and the bathrooms on each floor and the information provided and anything and everything in this home stay as I'd call it, is profoundly beautiful and amazing! It makes your stay perfect because it has more than you can think of and has been indicated in the subtlest but quirkiest way possible and you can feel how much thought would have been put to make Baan Farang or Pinklao Travellers House a place like it is. The WiFi is fast and has a luggage storage room for you after you checkout. The location is quiet and secluded which I liked but is accessible by any online order you placed for food or groceries and so on.

Cons: The hygiene spray in the bathroom on the top floor was broken as well as the men's toilet basin but it had other alternatives too so it never was uncomfortable.

A great base to stay for a couple days in Bangkok

Pros: We had a very comfortable stay in Baan Farang, it was perfect for a couple days stay in Bangkok. There was a little hiccup when we arrived as the bedroom hadn’t been cleaned but this was dealt with very promptly by Micha and the cleaner came immediately and sorted the room. They even gave us a free pot of noodles each for the wait. The accommodation is slightly out of the town but easily accessible by a grab bike. They also have two sweet cats at the property!

Cons: Nothing, it is comfortable and exactly what we needed

Pros: Great place with a lot of facilities. It was great to have kitchen so we could prepare breakfast and real coffee with was great price and so tasty, what you need in the morning! Cool and relaxed place for travelers, thanks for hosting us!

Pros: I loved everything! The rooms are incredibly spacious, I felt like I was at home - literally at home. The area is nice because it’s residential, and feels really safe. The owner was really friendly. There is a kitchen with everything you might need.

Cons: The only downside of the location is that it’s a bit of a walk from the metro, but hey, walking is healthy.

Pros: This is the best guesthouse I've ever been to. Clean, quiet, everything you need for a stay in one place. And what a view from a Zen room! The cats are a highlight of this place! Big room and shared spaces, clean bathrooms, washing machine, a kitchen - if you want to cook. Astonishing place, thank you for the stay.

Pros: I had a wonderful stay at Baan Farang! The place and host was amazing, warm and attentive. Every corner of the house is beautifully designed and thoughtfully arranged. Everything was clean, from the spacious rooms to the large, clean bathroom. It truly felt like a home. Highly recommend!

Pros: Peaceful and comfortable place with everything you need. Spacious room, very clean, nice and always available bathroom. Air conditioning everywhere, large comfortable beds, and lovely cats. Tasty street food and a shopping mall are nearby. There’s a coworking area with fast Wi-Fi, games, and many interesting books. You can also leave your luggage here for a while, which is super convenient for travelers. You can feel that Mitch and Gigi are travelers themselves and truly understand what guests need. I really felt at home here and will definitely come back again.
