Relaxing old world charm to come back to after exploring Bangkok.

Pros: Beautiful building, lovely situation by river, great area to explore , refreshing coconut shake and above all , a perfect bedroom to relax in at the end of the day.

Perfect location, charming accommodation, in a quiet area next to the river. Plenty of places to eat nearby

Pros: Location, close to the River, a ferry pier & other transport. We found it to be an excellent location for our first time travelling to Bangkok. We booked the large executive suite, which had a lovely view of the river.

Cons: The bed was incredibly hard, the staff rectified it as soon as I shared my concerns by adding a deep quilted mattress topper. The room would have benefited from a larger TV or an additional one in the lounge area. It would also have been great to have some small plates/bowls for snacks/crisps.

Very accommodative, value for money and good service provided by the staff of the hotel

Pros: The location, Near the river with easy access to shopping mall and interested places via Boat. Love the location!

Perfectly location

Pros: Beautiful building. Beautiful room. Felt very emerced in Bangkok. Loved watching the working boats moving up and down the river. Fabulous views over to the bridge which was lit up at night. Close to local temples and a short walk to the hop on hop off river boat pier. Boats every 30 mins. Perfect. Also within a 5 min walk for pleasant restaurants. Really had a wonderful holiday here. Interestingly, the bed was the hardest I have ever slept on...but we had great sleeps.

A charming riverside gem with soul and elegance

Pros: We truly loved our stay at Hiranyakul House – a hotel with real soul and character. It is perfect for adults and couples who appreciate calm surroundings and a touch of history. Our room was a beautiful suite, with a separate bedroom and living area. The style was classic and old-fashioned, yet everything felt comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The atmosphere was warm and refined, and the staff were polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, beautifully presented, and served with a wonderful view of the Chao Phraya River. It was a joy to dine while watching the lights and boats pass by. The location is also ideal — within walking distance to Bangkok’s Old Town, and just a short tuk-tuk ride to the Grand Palace and other landmarks. We left with lovely memories and will definitely return to Hiranyakul House on our next visit to Bangkok.

Pros: Awesome location, looking out the window, or sitting on the balcony watching the boats go by on the river. Lovely details. Great staff.

Cons: As it was low season, breakfast was not available, however the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.

Beautiful old building at a great location, not too far from nightlife

Pros: I booked a massive Room with nice little bacony that would allow me to wind down in the evening and watch the River and the closeby Bridge. The building while feeling historc is well kept. The staff was very nice

Cons: one of the 2 showers in the apartment didn't have hot water

Pros: Lovely rooms, we had a double and a suit/family room which had 2 bedrooms and 2 fully appointed bathrooms. The location was perfect for us, tucked away but right on the river. The bar and restaurant overlooks the river, where we watched the spectacle of the party boat cruises! Staff where really helpful too.

Cons: Some areas could be refurbished but generally it was well kept.

Excellent value river front hotel. Amazing view with restaurant. Definitely recommend.

Pros: We stayed for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor - lots of space for us and our two teens. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Approx 15 min walk from the Khao San craziness. View was amazing. We ate there on our first night the food was excellent- it was just us with a perfect view by the river. Very quiet. The staff don’t speak much English but Google translate works well.

Cons: The only downside is lack of pool - but because we had such a short stay we probably wouldn’t have used one anyway.

Pros: There was no breakfast. Maybe after 10.00 oclock in the morning

Cons: The restaurant of the hotel, is situated, very beautiful next to the river. Ther was not so much going on.
