A great short stay

Pros: The staff are so polite and helpful, the food was top notch especially the seafood and meat buffet dinner with the restaurant staff very helpful. Rooms big and spacious. MRT very close to move about.

Ok place in Bangkok.

Pros: The room was big and there is a pool. It is a conventional chain hotel.

Cons: It is a bit far from the main tourist center. The interiors are a bit old and the staff seems to be in an angry mood. Also, the control panel for the lights should be better located.

Emerald Hotel Bangkok is a gem

Pros: They did not disappoint me with a walk in shower for my elderly father, and the bathroom was spacious. the spread and the taste of the international weekend buffet was very good. Hotel staff from reception, concierge to restaurant staff are ALWAYS very patient, pleasant and serving with a SMILE!

Cons: No near enough mall for elderly people to leisurely walk to. However, 7 eleven is just next to the hotel with lots to enjoy. if walking is no issue, a great mall with Foodland, lots of eateries, nice and inexpensive fashion is just a 500m stroll away along the main motorway. MRT is also not too far to walk to, Huai Khwang station. No iron and ironing board in the room.
