New Siam II

Pros: This is an older hotel but clean, roomy and very comfy bed. Helpful staff and great location for food, markets, ferry etc.

Pros: Nice place to be near centre of Bangkok about 20 min walk.

Cons: Khosan road is too close for my liking. Too many falang

Good location for visiting Bangkok. Basic, budget hotel but met our needs for 2 nights

Pros: Good location, friendly staff, good Buffett breakfast to start the day.

Cons: Rooms very basic and in need of updating. AC was incredibly loud.

Pros: Staff were amazing. They moved me to another room when requested and were always helpful and obliging. Breakfast is good. Location is great.

Cons: Some rooms need an update - noisy aircon in some. Not much space in room, but you can sit in the downstairs area.

Pros: For a city hotel it was ideal lovely little pool for cooling off from the hot day staff were friendly and polite clean and comfy rooms.

Perfect location and facilities

Pros: This is our go to hotel whenever we are in Bangkok. The staff are exceptional, the rooms are well equipped and the location is perfect. I would highly recommend to others.

Cons: Lock on the door to balcony was broken, but not a big deal

I recommend New Siam II, for sure I will choose it again when I'm back.

Pros: We enjoyed our stay in New Siam II. It is located quite close to the city center, plus you can find all kind of restaurants, shops, massage services and whatnot nearby. If you don't want to go out, there's the restaurant in the hotel. The rooms are clean and the area around is not noisy, so you can enjoy good night rest. The breakfasts are ok, simple and tasty. The hotel staff can support you with all kind of requests, for example they helped us with the taxi to the airport and also got us take-away breakfast as we were leaving in the middle of the night.

Cons: I cannot recall anything that was not ok.

Pros: Fantastic location near the Khoa San Road yet quiet and calm. Nice pool. Close to the river for the ferry and well served by buses and taxis. Near the Grand Palace and Reclining Bhudda. Good choice at the buffet breakfast.

Cons: The air conditioning was difficult to use even after asking for help. We left the make up the room sign on the door at 9am and on our return at 6pm we had to ask for it to be done.
