Pros: The perfect place to stay! It is cozy, clean and very relaxing. It is such good value for money!

Pros: Good location in a local-feeling area, and a cheap private room. Staff were friendly. Nice quiet place to stay, great food all around nearby.

Cons: The no AC room is very tough, so know what you're getting into! 29 overnight in Bangkok over Christmas. And not much for socializing but that's what you sign up for with a guesthouse instead of a hostel.

Best place to stay in Bangkok

Pros: My 6th stay at Tavee Guesthouse in Bangkok was wonderful, like always. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and authentic, making it a perfect place to relax. One of the biggest advantages is the location. Being close to Thewes Pier is convenient — it makes getting around Bangkok by river easy, fast, and enjoyable, especially if you want to avoid traffic and experience the city from a different perspective. The guesthouse itself is clean, comfortable, and full of character. The staff are kind, attentive, and always ready to help, which really adds to the feeling of staying with friends rather than in a hotel. If you’re looking for a cozy place with a great location and a genuine, home-like atmosphere, I highly recommend Tavee Guesthouse. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Bangkok.

Great family run guest house

Pros: Quiet, simple and calm place. Everything is very clean. First came here in 2007 and nice to see that some things don’t change. The staff are really welcoming, the breakfast is great and the place is homely.
