Pros: Friendly staff. My AC didn’t work but after I told them they let someone come to fix it. It's really cozy, the wifi is great and their cafe/ restaurant is lovely, they have lots of vegan option and prices are reasonable.

Cons: No window, not the cleanest/ cobwebs

Pros: Amazing people, 7-11 on the opposite side of street, great food in the restaurant, more quiet area in Bangkok

Homely stay, feels like a 2nd home

Pros: Feels like a 2nd home, helpful staff, clean rooms, good music, good vibes, lots of house plants. Amazing location. Quiet street and very close to the water

Pros: We were so glad that we booked this place! We stayed in a private room with our own toilet facilities as it was the start of our travels, and we wanted the comfort of our own space to start the trip. This place was amazing value for money, and we have agreed that we would definitely stay here again. The best part was the restaurant; amazing food and such a relaxing atmosphere, authentically Thai. The room facilities were basic, bed pretty hard for what were used to, but all beds in Thailand seem to be, and i wouldnt say it was a detractor. It is a 5 minute walk from the ferry port, and it's pretty cheap to get around Bangkok via a Grab or ferry overall. If you're looking for a cheap and authentic place to stay, we definitely recommend Shanti Lodge :)
