Lilliput Riverside Bangkachao

Exceeded expectations!!

Pros: Loved the place and the location. Staff were super nice and accommodating, breakfast was good and the host still made it for me 2 hours later than I said I would wake up lol.

Cons: Shower looked a bit dirty and didn’t drain well, was standing in the water… if I had raised this issue I’m sure they would’ve offered another room.

Pros: The owner is very nice and the place is quiet and beautiful. We arrived late and there were no restaurants open nearby so she arranged for us to have dinner and it was delicious and she was always guiding us on all the available options to visit. I highly recommend the place.

Highly recommend this stay for a more serene Bangkok experience

Pros: The owner was helpful throughout my stay. The room was functional and clean. There is a very cool restaurant right outside.

Cons: The sandals were bad; they would tear out easily.

Pros: Lovely room, very good pillow, all needed amenities available, nice bathroom with good working shower. We also got a free upgrade and have a room with balcony. Near the river away from bustling city. Very friendly staff

A relaxing rural experience with urban comforts and horizon.

Pros: The Thai breakfast was delicious and made to order from our amazing & gracious host, Khun Som. Her cousin runs the next door restaurant, which also served good Thai river fare. There's a 24hr. longtail boat to cross the Chao Praya, where taxis & motosais are waiting to take you to the nearest BTS or MRT station. The surrounding area has many kilometers of elevated sidewalks to explore through jungle, farms and small neighborhoods. It's amazing to be city center Bangkok and know you're a few steps away from actual rural Thailand.

Cons: Having to cross the river to get basic convenience store goods and snacks, which is probably a good thing!

A peaceful and friendly guesthouse on the river

Pros: If you want to get away from the bustling life of Bangkok, this is the place to go! After a short boat ride, you will get to this lovely guesthouse with very friendly owners who speak good English. We were upgraded to a room with a small balcony with a very comfy bed.We booked the room, including breakfast, and the breakfast was very good! You will find a restaurant with good food next to the guesthouse. Be aware that they don't speak much English. You can use bikes for free from the shop next door. A calm escape away from Bangkok. Easy to reach with the friendliest owners.

Pros: Great location by the river and next to local restaurant with great food. Very friendly owners who made sure it was a happy and comfortable stay. We were surprised and grateful they arranged a krathong for us on Loy Krathong. Also, there’s space to park bicycle overnight.

Pros: Som is a great host. Very sweet, proactive, and considerate. Went out of the way to help out with even trivial things. Also, I found the location to be perfect. You are close to nature, eight by the river with great cycling routes and other activities, and as soon as you cross the river, you are in the city. I found it very convenient to explore places in Bangkok.

Pros: Close to the river, great bar/restaurant next door. Coconuta fresh in the room. Use of the bikes to cycle around the area. Homely.

Pros: Beautiful place, with owner sharing the best way to reach Lilliput the night before. Helped save the time it will take me if I go by the regular route. And I got a chilled coconut welcome drink!
