The staff were warm and friendly and made our stay as comfortable as possible.

Pros: We stayed at Gold Orchid Bangkok for 14 nights. The highlight for us was the staff, unfailingly friendly, helpful and kind. The breakfast buffet was generous, particularly the Asian selections, and the made to order omelettes were excellent.

Cons: We were surprised by the location, we stayed there to be near a medical facility but we hadn't realised that we were beside a multi-lane highway and that any sightseeing outing involved a long taxi or Bolt ride, sometimes as much as 40 -50 minutes. This of course is not the hotel's fault and there were often bus loads of visitors during our 14 day stay so it is obviously a popular option. My rating for the comfort of the beds is based on the fact they were very, very firm, which might suit other people.

Very comfortable and stress free.

Pros: The staff is helpful and Cindy, in particular, is very accommodating. She upgraded our room and it is very comfortable. Cleanliness is great in the hotel, the AC is cold, the breakfast is also good and the internet is free.
