5th stay. See you next year - kob khun kha.
Pros: This was my 5th stay at prince palace. It’s a comfortable hotel in a slightly less touristy area. Local shops for local people around and food markets. But the boat shuttle to malls stops right at bobae tower and the rest is a ashort ride away. They have done some updates to the sunroof near the pool bar since my last stay - adding chairs and tables which is nice. It was my mums first visit to thailand and the free update to tower D and that view was amazing. Literally breathtaking. The city and all the temples at your feet. She also loved the bath. It’s a quiet / soundproofed hotel which is also a bonus. Pool is great- love the view
Cons: Obviously it’s an old hotel - carpets in the halls of the towers feel dirty and furniture in the rooms is old - but beds are comfortable. A proper smart tv would be nice with Netflix app on it to log into. If you’re older getting from the entrance of your hotel to your room can be a 10 minute hike - depending on which tower you are. Forgetting something in your room is a real bummer then - as my mum experienced. Curtains are not black out.

Nice comfy Hotel
Pros: The hotel was lovely. The breakfast was fabulous, but outside that’s not what I expected been my first time in Bangkok.
Cons: Right hand side the door is all markets you can’t walk around at night. There’s nothing else there in the markets close before dark the only restaurant was in the hotel, which was okay

Royal times in Old Bangkok
Pros: Good location in old Bangkok. Short distance to destinations like the Royal Palace and Rajadamnern Stadium. Amazing spa/steam room facilities and well sized gym. Multiple 7/11 stores below if you require any additional nourishment or supplies.
Cons: Buffet breakfast very busy after 9am and sometimes hard to find a seat. Decor, furniture, carpets etc a little bit dated, particularly in the executive suite. Lots of clothes vendors, tuk tuk drivers etc outside the hotel make it a bit chaotic. Overall still a pretty good hotel

Good choice
Pros: The best things about the accommodation were the size of the room and the breakfast.
Cons: A drawback was the beds on wheels that couldn’t be locked in place.

Would come back
Pros: Came back here for the second time. Everything was fabulous
Cons: Only downside was that we found a cockroach in our room. But probably it’s possible in many places

Big hotel with nice and big rooms and amenities very central in Bangkok.
Pros: Huge hotel, very central in Bangkok. It has 2 very nice pools and otherwise many other amenities. Good for a longer stay. We booked executive suite, which was huge. Very competitive price.
Cons: Hotel room and corridors a bit outdated.
