The Cube Hostel Khaosan

Pros: We had a private room which was very comfortable and clean. The Hostel was quite too if that is what you prefer. Ideal for a short stay.

Pros: Is super close to koa San road, but in a quiet area. The bed are super comfortable, everything super clean and the showers hot!

Would definitely go back

Pros: Everything is as announced, the toilets are clean and the beds very comfortable! The compartments under the bed are big enough for backpacks and the hostel provides the lockers for them. It’s in a very nice area, really close to Khao San Road but in a very chill neighborhood.

Cons: Everything was as expected

Great Hostel, reasonable price and location

Pros: Very clean, great location, good wifi, hot showers not that it really matters. The bunks are new and the bed is comfy. Staff were very kind

Cons: It's not a very social atmosphere, not that its necessarily a negative but worth noting :)

Clean, comfy, well located.

Pros: The pictures are very true to what you get for the double room. It was really nice a view out onto the water and a TV, desk, and mirror. They have washing and drying too and the staff are nice and there basically round the clock. They also have a small kitchen space with a microwave and kettle.

Cons: We were on the second floor where there are no showers or toilets so had to go up and all the showers are on the top floor which makes a bit hot and sweaty getting up there plus a bit of a trek but honestly as far as hostels go we really can’t complain - would go back.

Great View Calming Private Room

Pros: Great view from the bedroom, floor to ceiling windows calm and quiet looking over the canal and was able to check in late

Cons: not very social hostel but that has nothing to do with the staff or owners or building just the people staying there at the time were very insular

Pros: Great location! Walking distance from Khao San and all the street food, you got everything you need and it's clean, but it's not amazing. It's okay!

Cons: You had to walk to the top floor for the showers.

Pros: great location but in a silent street, comfy bed, great view from the room, shared bathrooms on the rooftop with a small balcony, microwave and plates downstairs, great stay would recommend

Great place for a few days in BKK

Pros: We stayed in a double room with view of the river. It was very nice, the bed was comfortable, the facilities were good. This isn’t a hostel with a lot of common areas, more to just sleep but it absolutely worked for us. Just a short walk to Khao San & Restaurants.

Cons: The light in the room was terribly bright, there wasn’t any passive light

Nice location, but be prepared to get your steps in climbing to the 6th floor everyday.

Pros: The location was extremely ideal, and I loved the fact that it backed out onto a canal for some peace and quiet - but there was easy access to convince stores and restaurants around the canal. The beds were also extremely comfortable.

Cons: The showers are all on the rooftop so the entire building must use the same 6 shower cubicles. Although I never had to wait it meant that the showers were always wet and full of remnants of the last person/people. At the time that I was staying there as well people seemed to lack hostel etiquette so the dorms were quite noisy at night time. The area is quite touristy as well, so although there were many amenities they appeal more to farangs taking away from the local flavour you could get elsewhere.
