Baan Wanchart

Pros: A little gem in the middle of Bangkok. Lovely breakfast and loved that access to snacks and drinking water were available 24/7. Very kind and helpful host.

Cons: Beds were a little hard for my taste but slept well as it was so peaceful. Lack of English channels on t.v but didn't watch much t.v so not an issue.

Pros: I highly recommend this place. The location is great — you stay in the center of Bangkok, yet it’s peaceful and quiet. The staff are very helpful, and everything is very clean. The breakfasts are delicious. There is also a washing machine and dryer available for an additional fee (the washing machine costs 50 baht). If I return to Bangkok, I will definitely choose this place again.

All around great!

Pros: Great location, not too far from the temples or the Grand palace or food. Loved the snack bar with fresh fruit (bananas and longan!) and other snacks. The breakfast was great! They provided lots of free bottled water throughout our stay. Room was spacious and bed was comfy. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room had a balcony with a great view of the river!

Pros: We had a perfect stay at Baan Wanchart. We stayed in the deluxe room with a view of the canal and it was spacious, clean, cool and with a view of the daily life of the locals around the canal. The hotel provides you with everything you might need and most important the owners know what hospitality is. we will definitely come back.

Pros: The room was surprisingly spacious and contained all the basic amenities. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've experienced at hotels. The staff were well-meaning.

Cons: The breakfast largely comprised fried or sugary items. I would have appreciated some healthier options and some proper coffee. The cheap flimsy shower curtain was insufficient and allowed water to spread all over the bathroom floor.

Brilliant location and value for money

Pros: The location was perfect. 15 mins walk to the tourist boat on the river, 10 mins walk to local canal taxi, 10 mins to Thai boxing stadium. Local restaurant very close, excellent and cheap. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, always fruit, yogurt, some kind of egg, other stuff, toast, cereal. Bottled water always available. We paid for upgrade for canal view which was good to watch Thai life going on. WiFi strong. Staff polite and helpful tho quiet.

Cons: The shower water was not warm enough. The bed and pillows were hard but we got used to that.

Pros: The room was very clean, bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very delicious, there is both thai and continental options. The staff is extremely friendly. Location is ok.

Pros: The hotel was a delightful surprise. It is relatively new, featuring spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is enjoyable. Located in the heart of the city, it is within walking distance of numerous tourist attractions, and the area feels safe.
