Ama Hostel Bangkok

Quiet & lovely designed boutique hostel right in the hart of Chinatown

Pros: Perfect location - super quiet in the middle of old Chinatown. Very clean and beautiful design. More of a small hotel instead of a hostel.

Cons: Staff is friendly but they don’t know or can’t really help with booking tours or recommendations.

A Sweet Spot

Pros: Location to Chinatown. Sam Yot station is easily walkable. Pretty clean and great areas to hang about . Plenty of food options nearby

Cons: Twin rooms are pretty compact.

Pros: I was really impressed with how big and comfortable are the beds. It was also very quiet and I really enjoyed my stay there. Shout out to the cleaning staff, they do an amazing job and this place is exceptionally clean at all times.

Cons: Nothing, but I just wonder why they don't allow to book single beds in the other dorm, since the red one was fully booked. I just wished I could stay longer!

Pros: The design is really nice with unique architecture. Room is okay. Staff is helpful

Cons: Nothing much. Room on 2nd floor a little small but that's ok. The location is a little hard to find as it's in a small alley that you need to drop off from the street and walk a little bit, so expect some difficulty in booking Grab

Lovely hostel in a lovely area

Pros: Best location we stayed at in Bangkok and the hostel was beautiful! we had a lovely room with a small back balcony which was a bonus. They left water and snacks in front of our door every day which was unexpected and cute! Staff was super responsive before our stay and we.could leave the luggage in their storage room before check in and event after check out. We would definitely consider staying at Ama again next time we're in Bangkok. The area was fantastic- close to China town, Talad Noi and close to the river.

Pros: The beds were nice and the staff were amazing, especially the man who works at the front desk and cafe. He was always happy to help and very friendly. I’d stay here again

Homely and sweet.

Pros: It was at a very peaceful location, away from the sounds of the city. Loved the way the property was kept and maintained. The staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us.

Cons: Everything was great!

Pros: Well located, confortable and clean. Place is really nice.

Charming, authentic place, hidden from the city noise.

Pros: Charming interior, excellent location, really welcoming service (we got into our rooms a bit earlier). Especially charming was the light show on the tiny hotel street in the evening, a small chill out pool on the rooftop was a nice touch. We even got small surprises/lottery at check in due to Christmas (some extra snacks & drinks).

Cons: All was good.

Pros: The staff is lovely, they were always very attentive! The location is close to the temples, everything is clean, and the bed is super comfortable. I had an amazing month in Bangkok, thank you so much!!
