Banthat Thong Hostel

The location of this hostel was very convenient as it was very close to food, coffee, shopping and public transportation

Pros: I loved the helpful staff, cleanliness and location.

Pros: Fantastic location within walking distance to Metro and BTS lines, plus a bunch of amazing restaurants. Very quiet at night which was perfect for our first few days in Bangkok. Clean rooms, shared areas and floors throughout.

Cons: There wasn’t much of an atmosphere, few people ever around which we found great but not for you if you want something more lively.

Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure guests felt comfortable and well taken care of. The hostel itself has a warm, cozy atmosphere that truly feels like home. Everything was also spotlessly clean. The location is safe and very convenient, just a short walk to Chulalongkorn University and right at the famous Banthat Thong area, which is packed with amazing street food options. Highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a welcoming, clean, and perfectly located place!

Pros: I had a very pleasant stay. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere felt homely and comfortable. The property is clean, in a safe location, and within walking distance to Chulalongkorn University, popular restaurants, and the Banthat Thong area.

Great place to stay in Banthat Thong

Pros: Very large solo room and comfortable bed, nice common area on the ground floor and lots of food choices in the surrounding area. Clean all around including the shower and sink areas so kudos to their maintenance.

Cons: Somewhat weak water pressure on the showers.

Pros: Très bon accueil. Le personnel très agréable et souriant et de bon conseil. La chambre et les sanitaires étaient propres. Située dans un quartier calme et proche du métro. La chambre était assez grande.

Cons: Pas de fenêtre dans la chambre. Le bruit , on entend tout se qui se passe dans les autres chambres ainsi que des autres étages.

Pros: La localisation L’accueil, les gérants nous donnent toutes les bonnes adresses du quartier Les communs étaient très propres

Quiet stay in a great neighborhood

Pros: This hostel had more of a guesthouse vibe and was pretty quiet throughout my 4 night stay. I rarely ran into anyone aside from the cleaning staff. It was in a great neighborhood (perfect for foodies), well connected via public transport (bus, MRT, SRT). When present, the staff were so helpful and kind. The cold (and hot) drinking water was a nice touch, as were the free snacks and bananas. The A/C in the room worked well.

Cons: My room on the 4th floor had a mild ant problem to start. The staff took care of it right away and even offered to let me switch rooms. The ants went away after a day. While it feels inconvenient, I can understand why eating in the rooms is prohibited. The WiFi in my room was a bit spotty, but it worked fine on the ground floor. Depending on who your neighbors are, you may be hearing the unlocking/shutting of doors quite a bit.

Pros: De locatie is lekker centraal en je hebt een hoop heerlijke eetgelegenheden dichtbij de hostel. Voor deze prijs kan in het erg aanbevelen.

Cons: Je deelt de sanitaire voorzieningen en sommige kamers hebben geen ramen. Dit geven ze bij het booken gewoon aan dus was geen verassing.
