Pros: Extremely low budget accommodation but fine for a few nights, stayed here few times before

Pros: Always a great place to stay. Staff is excellent, food is good, location is great, price is right.

Cons: People in other rooms slamming their doors shut like they were closing gates on a castle being attacked.

Pros: Excellent staff and overall largely valuable considering the price and the location! Would definitely come back! The staff is here to help, you just have to be nice and communicative.

Cons: The bed was tough but again largely OK considering the price and the location.

Pros: Excellent location, this time I got a room with the monastery view and close to the balcony. As usually everything is very clean, staff is polite and helpful.

Cons: The room has bare minimum of furniture. I purchased a rope and a set if hangers to hang my clothes, and an electric extention cord.

Pros: Better than expected for the price clean and tidy place comfortable bar.Has a tour and travel desk very nice lady running this.

Cons: Receptionist got annoyed when i asked for help with the luggage.

Pros: Location great and fabulous, very helpful, friendly and efficient staff.who made everyone feel welcome.

Cons: Would have liked the choice of hot water in the shared showers. Also found all the stairs hard because I am ancient! Luckily had help with my bags. Really satisfied with value for money.

Pros: Excellent location, and the fact that for quite a low price I could have my own room. Shower and toilet are shared but clean and available at all time.

Cons: Rooms do not have windows outside of the building but into the corridor and not sound proof. Not much furniture, no wardrobe or shelves.

Quiet Khao San area near to everything.

Pros: The location was great, right in the heart of the Khao San area near to restaurants, bars etc. Accommodation is basic in a single room with a ceiling fan and the toilets, showers and wash hand basins down the hallway, good free Wi-Fi and 2 electrical sockets in the room, price reflects these things so don’t expect 5 star hotel luxury. Restaurant on the ground floor selling delicious Thai and western food. Staff were friendly and efficient. There were lots of these basic guesthouses in the area but are gradually being modernised and losing their character so it’s nice to see this one still up and running.
