The Krungkasem Srikrung Hotel

A clean, cheap comfortable hotel in a great location.

Pros: Location opposite Subway station allows easy access from airport and to get to many tourist sites. Breakfast. Mix of Thai and western dishes to fill you up for the day. Staff. Very polite and accommodating. Rooms spotlessly clean. Very reasonably priced.

Cons: No smoke detectors in rooms or passageways.

Pros: Good location on the edge of China Town just opposite a metro station and a few minutes from a bus stop. Good breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff. Our room was very basic but clean with comfortable beds and very good value for money.

Pros: Large bedroom, calm area, nice personnel at reception and room level. Next to Chinese quarter and Metro station.

Cons: The elevator signal could be heard from the room.

Pros: location is very very good, near HUA Lamphong station and china town. fee is very low. and hotel menber is very kind and asist us a lot.

Pros: A modest, charming hotel with comfortable, clean rooms. We were very pleased that the hotel accommodated our request for a high floor with a beautiful view. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. The hotel is located near the metro station, the train station, and not too far from the main attractions.

Pros: The breakfast offered a good variety of food to satisfy all tastes and requirements. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Loved the location, breakfast and staff were good, but the hotel was older but cafe was nice.

Pros: Breakfast buffet was very good, and the location was great! The room was clean and practical, but the overall building was a little tired. The cafe has been updated, and the rest of the building would do well with some more updates as well. Staff were helpful, and also organized a taxi back to the airport when it was time to leave at a good price.

Cons: Shower was a little awkward and warm water only. The balcony could have had some chairs...the room itself was very clean, but was old. Simple updates could go a long way here.

GREAT LOCATION Good vallue for money, we will come back!

Pros: I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel today, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it. The staff are absolutely outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. I have very specific dietary requirements, and the entire kitchen team went above and beyond; I would even say 200%, to accommodate my needs on an individual level. The attention, flexibility, and kindness shown to me were exceptional and deeply appreciated. The hotel’s location is also excellent. It is situated directly opposite the central train station and only about 400 meters from Chinatown and the Golden Buddha temple complex, making it perfectly positioned for both sightseeing and experiencing the local atmosphere. Thanks to the combination of superb service, personal care, and a very convenient location, my stay was not only comfortable but truly memorable. I would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values genuine hospitality and thoughtful service.

Cons: One small downside worth mentioning is that, although the room was very clean, tidy, and thoroughly serviced every day with fresh linens, it is in a somewhat older condition. The same applies to the hallway, which clearly shows signs of wear; the laminate flooring, in particular, could easily be replaced. That said, considering all the positive aspects of the stay, this became unimportant very quickly. After a day, it was hardly noticeable anymore. The exceptional service and support from the staff more than compensated for this entirely.

Good choice for Bangkok

Pros: The Hotel is quite near Hua Lamphong Railway & MRT Station and is on the outskirts of Chinatown. The breakfast buffet was very varied (Both Western & Asian food) and I also had a very nice Thai Green Curry in the restaurant in the evening. I found the hotel to be quiet which is ideal for a good nights sleep. The staff were very friendly and attentive and were able to print some emails for me as well, which was useful for an ongoing travel to neighbouring countries. I also found the large fridge and good air-conditioning to be a great addition to the room, as well as the complimentary bottles of water.

Cons: There was some renovation going on in the hotel, but it did not impact my stay.
