Charlie House Pin Klao

Pros: Really idyllic oasis, you hear little noise from the roads because of the plants and flowers everywhere. Does not feel like you are in bangkok.

Cons: Hotel is hard to access, especially with big luggage from the nearest blue line station. It has a few other common shortcomings, for example the showerheads being too low for even an average sized european like me. Common in asia but I feel like a hotel targeting foreign tourists should take that into account.

Lovely welcoming peaceful haven in very busy bangkok

Pros: This is a very welcoming and friendly place, with fantastic staff who are helpful. The breakfast is nice. The property is peaceful.

Cons: The location may be suitable to some and less for others, depending on where in the city you need to be. it is tucked away in a peaceful lane which is nice and quiet but also in an area of residential high rises and malls with big roads, not very walkable.

Pros: Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that, but the dining area was so cute. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, loved the vibe - it was beautiful and staff were lovey and very helpful. Wish we’d booked for longer!!

Cons: We struggled to find it initially as we were on foot and took a convoluted back way. But soon found our way (there is a much easier and more direct route than we took initially!) and it’s not far to the train station

Relaxing lovely pool friendly

Pros: Very clean lovely pool friendly staff quiet easy to get to attractions convenient for night market and shopping

Cons: Maybe not many bars restaurants nearly but it’s a locals area so you get really nice local food

Pleasant hotel- a tranquil respite from full-on Bangkok.

Pros: Beautiful setting. Rooms have everything you need.

Cons: It’s a bit remote- but in an interesting area.

I will always stay in Charlie-for meis the best.

Pros: I love it. We stay always at Charlie. Is a quiet,hidden jem in the middle of the loud Bangkok. Sleeping is possible because is quiet. The pool is nice and clean. Staff is always there to help for whatever you need.

Cons: Only one thing I would like to say is that the place is so nice and I see a little of low maintenance. The doors are nice but need a little of paint and the bathrooms some fresh silicone.

Peaceful Green Oasis

Pros: Peaceful little oasis away from the mad rush of Bangkok! Lush green garden with koi pond, lovely small swimming pool, perfect for cooling off after the stifling heat of the city. Comfortable clean rooms, tea/coffee making faculties, fresh (glass) bottled water every day. Staff are lovely, always helpful and friendly.

Cons: Nothing not to like really. Only thing I'd mention is the set price all you can eat breakfast is probably not great value if you don't eat much.

Lovely oasis in Thon Buri, Bangkok – a hidden gem

Pros: I love the neighborhood away from the tourist areas: local malls, street food stalls, and a local night market. It’s a 13-minute walk to MRT Bang Yi Khan (Blue Line), or you can just take a Grab — traffic can be heavy. Skip the breakfast. You’re in Bangkok — breakfast heaven is on the street!

Cons: Kids can be loud at the pool, which I personally like. If you prefer it quieter, just ask for a room away from the pool. The frogs in the morning might wake you up. Bring mosquito repellent.

Perfect stay in Bangkok, magical garden, very good value

Pros: Amazing & really beautiful hotel!! very friendly staff, beautiful garden with pool, huge room with comfortable beds. I would definitely come again :)
