Nice stay
Pros: Absolutely WOW! Good location at the beginning of China town. Staff were very nice. Bar downstairs looks very nice I hope next time I can enjoy drinking here. Room very clean. Got all toiletry. Bed very comfy. Next time when I have to work in China town, I will comeback and would recommend for my colleagues.

Pros: The staff at this hostel are extremely helpful. When I was stressed about getting to the bus station, Kay helped me order a taxi. The hostel invites a real chef Tangmo to cook for the guests. Worth a try! Can only recommend! The bed in the dormitory is quite big, and the curtains provide a lot of privacy. The hostel is modern and recently renovated, which makes the stay more enjoyable. Nice location. Close to the China town and to the river(you can get the fastest to the Grand Palace and other tourist spots by boat).

It was a nice stay
Pros: The location is great, 10 minutes walk from MRT station and 5 minutes walk to the boat. There are market nearby with lots of food stalls (many locals also eat there) and also close by the chinatown night market.
Cons: They don’t have elevator, so if you are on the 5th floor, you will have a good exercise (they help you carry the luggage up though).

Chill place to stay
Pros: This was a nice quiet, chill place to stay in around Chinatown. We walked around a fair bit 10minutes from 2 stations or an each grab trip to another part of the city. We didn’t do a whole lot here mainly because I was unwell before we arrived and spent a full day and half in bed. It was a comfortable stay and the bathrooms clean

Ich kann dieses Hostel wirklich von Herzen weiterempfehlen. Eine rundum tolle Erfahrung.
Pros: Ich war mit meinem Aufenthalt in diesem Hostel sehr zufrieden Mir hat fast alles gefallen: die Sauberkeit, der freundliche Empfang, das hilfsbereite Personal und das bequeme Bett. Für ein Hostel hatte ich fast das Gefühl, ein eigenes kleines Zimmer zu haben. Die Lage ist perfekt. Man befindet sich in einem lokalen Viertel, etwas abseits vom touristischen Trubel, ideal für alle, die eine authentischere Erfahrung suchen. Besonders geschätzt habe ich die Nähe zu lokalen Restaurants mit fairen Preisen, keine überhöhten Touristenpreise, sondern lokale thailändische Standards. Das Personal war wirklich toll und hat mir viele Tipps gegeben, wie ich schneller und günstiger von A nach B komme. Das hat mir Zeit und Geld gespart. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war das erste Hostel, in dem ich mich nicht wie in einem Hostel gefühlt habe, die Schlafkabine war wie ein kleines privates Zimmer. Sehr sauber, ruhig, gut organisiert, und das reine Frauenzimmer war ebenfalls top.
Cons: Was mich an diesem Hostel wirklich enttäuscht hat, war das völlig respektlose Verhalten des Besitzers, ein Schweizer, der es eigentlich besser wissen müsste, wie man Konsumenten mit Transparenz und Fairness behandelt. Während meines Aufenthalts habe ich jeden Tag Getränke dem Self-Service-Kühlschrank genommen und stets den gleichen Preis bezahlt. Am letzten Tag jedoch, ohne jegliche Ankündigung, wurde der Preis einfach verdoppelt. Kein Schild, keine Mitteilung, nichts. Ich erfuhr vom neuen Preis erst, als ich schon konsumiert hatte. Das ist absolut inakzeptabel. Eine solche Preiserhöhung ohne jegliche Vorwarnung ist nichts anderes als eine versteckte Abzocke. Dass diese Entscheidung direkt vom Besitzer kam, macht die Situation noch schlimmer. Als Schweizer weiss er ganz genau, was Kundenservice bedeutet, gerade weil er in einem anderen Land lebt, sollte er mit gutem Beispiel vorangehen. Stattdessen zeigt er Gier und mangelnde Integrität. Ich habe mich entschieden, nicht vor Ort zu reklamieren, aus Respekt gegenüber den Angestellten, die offensichtlich selbst peinlich berührt waren und nicht verantwortlich für diese Entscheidung sind. Es ist traurig, dass ein Hostel mit so guter Infrastruktur durch den Charakter seines Besitzers in Verruf gerät. Es geht hier nicht nur ums Geld, sondern um Vertrauen. Ehrlichkeit ist das absolute Minimum. Ich habe den höheren Preis bezahlt, aber ich verlasse das Hostel mit dem klaren Gefühl, dass der Besitzer weder Achtung noch Anstand gegenüber seinen Gästen zeigt. Wenn er auch nur ein wenig Glaubwürdigkeit behalten will, sollte er dringend über sein Verhalten nachdenken. Respekt ist keine Option, er ist eine Pflicht.
