Good Guesthouse

Pros: I love the environnement, people were really nice and I think it's a good way to meet new people.

Cons: Some people talk too loudly on the room during the night and this is really inconvenient, it good wake you up in the middle of the night.

Pros: Beds were comfortable, they gave a towel for free, bathrooms and bedrooms both kept clean and were happy to do a laundry service for me Location is great, not too loud and also located right next door to a neighbouring hostel so you get to socialise with a lot of people Will probably stay here again if I travel back to Bangkok

Pros: I loved It’s in the middle of the city So it’s very easy for take a bus or metro and the staff are very friendly and helpful! The dormitory and community room are very clean too!

Pros: Lot of space for yourself and for chilling with other people around, there are events, and some stuff to do. The staff is amazing and super kind, and it is a pretty easy place to socialize if you are traveling alone :)

The place to stay in Bangkok

Pros: Everything about this place is awesome, great rooms that are super clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff were so lovely, ! Location super central, with many super markets and restaurants around, but still the hostel is very calm! They also offer free bottles of water which is a big plus! You can even use their luggage storage during your trips out of Bangkok. Highly recommend!

Cons: Took a private as was tired of dorms, you can fully hear every word your neighbours are saying A little run down

Great for resting, not great for social

Pros: The whole properties new and fresh. The bunks are large and feel very private. Everything’s cleaned immaculately.

Cons: No social vibe at all.

Quiet stay at a new hostel close to Khaosan Road

Pros: Super close to Khaosan Road but without all the noise. Very modern facilities which are still being actively improved. Secure stay, with cards to get in and out your room and lockers for everyone (bring your own lock or buy one at reception). Nice chill common area outside. Free water was a nice touch.

Cons: The bathrooms are quite outdated and felt a bit dirty. Also my room was really smelly, guessing due to lack of air circulation. Also the beds are full of holes on the sides, so the light somehow managed to hit my eyes directly every morning. Sad that the free water is in water bottles, adding to the Thai pollution. I suggest putting in a water dispenser instead. Not super social and didn't have any activities going on.

Nice place

Pros: Pleasant place and staff, dorm beds are large with side walls.

Cons: Air conditioning was very cold and strong. Lots of mosquitos in the terrace (which itself is nice), though maybe not much can be done about it.
