House of Machine Boutique Hotel

Great stay, great place for Old town activities

Pros: We stayed here for the second time already and returning after a couple of years, our stay in Bk Old town district was wonderful again. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful, we felt very welcomed and well-equipped for our stay. We got a lot of very good recommendations regarding eating out and sightseeing, all was explained in a very good and understandable way. We loved to stay with u and will hopefully come back again. :) The hotel is located very well for those interested in explore the city by foot or take a cab/tuktuk to any of the great spots. The Hotel itself looks very industrial chic, as it is a former factory and thus the name - which we loved too.

Home Away From Home in a Perfect Location

Pros: A real home away from home. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, free snacks, great craft beer, and a super comfortable mattress. Only a 10-minute walk to temples and Khaosan Road. Highly recommend.

Second Visit, Still the Best Boutique Hotel Ever

Pros: This is my second time staying at House of Machine, and it truly is the best boutique hotel ever. Outstanding service, excellent cleanliness, and a perfect location. I will definitely come back again next year

Great place to stay

Pros: Size of the room, the bathroom and that you could close the doors to the livingroom. The location was excellent, even if it doesn’t seem like it when you arrive. Cool design, we loved it!

Cons: The breakfast was just toast with jam and some unhealthy cereals. We didn’t eat there. Could hear noice from the other rooms.

Pros: Amazing staff Super helpful, friendly and generally a really nice energy about them. Interesting, clean and spacious rooms. Close to lots of food and activities

Boutique hotel is an experience in itself.

Pros: Loved the retro/industrial look of the old tractor factory converted to a unique boutique hotel. So many interesting things to look at. Beautiful styling and furnishings. Very kind & gentle manager and staff. Very close to the Grand Palace if you exit the front door and turn left. If you turn right, it's a whole other world, the real old Bangkok.

Cons: Think someone else mentioned it, the sheets. They are synthetic/slippery not a good feel, and we really could not get comfortable on the hard bed. Beds are typically hard in Thailand, so it takes some getting used to. I'd recommend changing the sheets to cotton and putting a topper on the mattress. The location is good & bad. Good that it's a short walk to the Grand Palace, not so good in that it feels a little scary if you are travelling alone, as the street has a lot of homeless people.

Pros: Our stay at the House of Machine was wonderful. The place was clean and tidy with a really cool industrial design that felt very unique. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for sightseeing, we could easily walk to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho temple. Be aware that there is no lift at this hotel, but the staff were amazing and helped us with our luggage immediately.

Pros: Excellent hotel, clean room with great facilities and wonderful service. Every convenience in the room including toiletries. Very helpful staff and location just a stone’s throw from the Grand Palace. Highly recommended
