Perfect Khao San hostel
Pros: I've no idea how I missed this hostel before, but it has everything a good hostel should have, while maintaining a reasonable 350b price tag. Honestly, what a gem....! The hostel is located in a perfect spot, a quiet alleyway off of Khao San Road, so you're near everything, but it's not too loud. The rooms are clean, neat and modern. Proper pod style beds, with curtains that give genuine privacy, comfortable (Asian firm) mattress, clean bedding, multiple plugs and a light in the pod. There is also full size locker just outside the room. There are 2 showers and toilets per floor, all very clean and in good condition. Hot water flow was decent. WiFi was stable and fast. There is a lobby downstairs with a coffee shop, and plenty of chill out space as well.

Pros: Good location, close to busy areas and transport, yet on a quiet street. You can sleep well here. There is a massage salon in the neighboring building.

Pros: Only for one night in Bangkok to be close to the bus station. Didn’t hear the noise from khao san road. Rooms were clean. The staff was really nice.
Cons: Prefer en-suite bathroom but that’s for one/a few nights, it is fine

Very good place to stay
Pros: I’ve stayed at this hostel several times when coming to Bangkok. It’s calm and quiet (even though the street just around the corner is very lively), clean, and the value for money is excellent. The staff is super friendly and always smiling, and they make great breakfasts and coffee. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful place in a great location in Bangkok. You can also leave your luggage there for several days for just a few dollars.

Pros: The staff went above and beyond for me as I was arriving early morning from Bangkok. They made the checkin after hours seamless. Showers, beds were great.

Pros: Perfectly peaceful stay in the heart of Khao San Road. Great breakfast, the staff did an early check-in for me, forever grateful after a night spent on a sleeper bus. Nice indoor lounge, have a sitting area in front of the hostel.
Cons: Maybe the air in the room could be slightly better during the night and early mornings (ventilation).

Pros: A good hostel in the Old Town, full of tourists and cafes, a 15-20-minute walk to the nearest metro station, and a 5-7-minute walk to buses to various destinations. Large, comfortable beds with soft mattresses, a convenient staircase for the upper bunks, long curtains that cover the bed on all sides, clean rooms and bathrooms, friendly staff, and a very cozy cafe-like lounge area on the ground floor. The rooms are quiet and peaceful, I recommend it!
Cons: I can't say, I probably liked everything
