Unique, beautiful and isolated stay with helpful hosts.

Pros: The host was really friendly and helpful whilst giving us space and privacy. We arrived without eating and he fetched us some tasty lunch which was really appreciated. We also got a free bottle of water on arrival and he sells beers, snacks etc. The included Thai breakfast we had was delicious with generous quantities. Plus, the two cats are gorgeous. The rooms were really nicely decorated with lots of trinkets and things to look at; the place has a strong style that makes it feel really homely. We had a great nights sleep with good air con to cool us down. The shower is nice and warm. The location was isolated on the river making it feel special and tranquil. However, it is important to be aware of this when booking.

Cons: When booking we weren’t aware that the only way to access the stay is by boat (don’t be fooled by Google Maps saying you can walk - this will lead to you being hot and confused!) In some ways this makes it really unique and beautiful however it means that you have to pay long-tailed boatmen to get to and from the stay. The host helpfully took us into Koh Kret to explore but we paid to get back so just make sure you budget this when booking.

Pros: The whole experience was most enjoyable, breakfast and dinner were very delicious & the portions were big! Home made thai style soup with large shrimps. Omelette with sticky rice. Large bedroom with aircon & en suite bathroom. Big bed with clean sheets and comfortable pillows. I had my own table to eat from outside my bedroom on a private terrace. As i had gone there to fish it was ideal as the river was right outside my bedroom. Will go back again as it was a most relaxing experience for me. Sun the owner was very friendly & layed back!!!! 100% for Golite Homestay.

Pros: 친절한 호스트, 맛있는 아침식사, 자연 느낌, 정글에서 샤워하는 느낌 ㅎㅎ 아침식사가 굉장히 맛있었습니다. 저희는 저녁을 다른곳에서 먹었으나, 사진을 보니 숙소에서 저녁을 먹어도 될 것 같습니다. 주변에 마트같은것도 없어서 무조건 간식, 과일 등 미리 준비해야합니다. 이동수단은 보트택시뿐입니다.

Cons: 보트소리가 시끄럽지만 괜찮았습니다, 하지만 개미가 너무 많아서 모기처럼 많이 물렸습니다ㅠㅠ 두가지 제외하고는 잊지못할 추억이었습니다.

Pros: Relaxed and very chill atmosphere, friendly cats, beautiful views, vintage and nostalgic interiors and decoration, also kind hosts very caretaking and privacy giving. Tasty food especially the homemade ones.
