Postel Chinatown

Pros: Modern and cool hostel with comfy and clean rooms in the middle of Chinatown.

Pros: Excellent clean accommodation in the heart of Chinatown.

Clean comfy quiet room very close to Chinatown

Pros: Excellent value for money. Clean comfortable with fridge, hairdryer, toiletries, towels and really comfy bed. Small room but fine to sleep in. Close to Chinatown but amazingly quiet. Really friendly and helpful staff who let us leave our bags all day before collecting them to move on.

Pros: The hostel is newly opened (2months). It is clean. The location is good especiailly guests who want to explore Yaowarat area.

Cons: This is not what I don't like about the hostel. Just FYI. There are some homelesses sleeping on the footpaths in Yaowarat area.

Spacious comfortable bed and space

Pros: We stayed in the family room and it was so spacious, two pillows and a comfy duvet. The reception was great and they had a water dispenser available. Location was great, round the corner from china town and close to the MBK blue line to get to Bang Sue market and all the Siam shopping centres

Cons: There are windows that don’t let in any light as they face another building which made it harder to get up without natural light😂 The stairs to the top section were also steep so if you have a younger child keep this in mind. All in all amazing property even considering these minor points.

Pros: The staff were amazing. It is a new facility, everything is nice and clean. There are free drinking water, microwave and kettle. The location is great too. I would definitely come back.

Cons: The building is on a busy road so it can be noisy depending on your room. Notice that there is no window in some rooms.

Great loaction but very dark room

Pros: This place is very spacious. The upstairs area with two beds is great. It has more of a hostel-style atmosphere rather than a hotel, which worked well for us. Downstairs there is a delivery company, so there is always someone around if you need help. The owner responded to my messages immediately and was really lovely to communicate with — everything was easy and stress-free. The location is excellent. It’s very close to Chinatown, and having a 7-Eleven right next door is super convenient when you need drinks or late-night snacks.

Cons: The main issue for us was the lack of natural light. The windows are covered by solid panels from the outside (possibly for storage or noise reduction), so the room stayed dark all the time. After 6 nights this started to feel quite depressing. We personally prefer a bright room, even if it comes with a bit more street noise. Because of this, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again. (If they take off those panels, we'd love to come back)

Pros: 있을건 다있고 찾는데 불편함이 없고 편의점 이 바로옆 에 있어 편리 하지만 옆에 공사해서 시끄러웠음 직원 은 정말 친절함

Cons: 샤워실 수전 배관이 덜렁덜렁 배관 부속 을 교체해야할듯

Create location, simple, clean, staff were good

Pros: Property was a great location with its walk ability to all Chinatown has to offer and was great to have a 7-Eleven right beside it. It came as advertised

Cons: Our room was advertised as a king bed, a twin bed, and a sofa bed, but the sofa bed was really just a small couch that was definitely not comfy to sleep on for kids

Pros: I arrived late at night, and there was staff available to check me in and help bring up my luggage. A minor issue came up during my stay and was handled immediately with care and professionalism. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout my entire stay. The hotel is located in Chinatown, close to the night market and the MRT, which made getting around very convenient. The room was spacious, and the property felt safe—entry to the building is locked after a certain time, and access to the room floor requires a key card. I would stay here again.
