Somerset Ekamai Bangkok

Excellent position, good spaces, nice swimming pool and clean facility

Pros: I generally liked the place, it is in a very good position, the price was good for the service offered, and the personnel was attentive and kind, The cafeteria connected to thie hotel offers a good ranges of delicious cafes and cakes and the breakfast was also good quality

Nice family stay

Pros: The hotel has a good space, we like that there is a seperate kitchenette and dining area, and a tv sofa lounging area.

Cons: The fact that the hotel charges a seperate fee to gain access to the balcony. We couldn't have fresh air unless we pay the fee. Is it due to safety and security concern? We're not sure.

Great value for money in the heart of Bangkok!

Pros: I had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Ekamai Bangkok, which proved to be an excellent place to relax after a busy day in Bangkok. The property is exceptionally clean and maintains a welcoming atmosphere, enhanced by a subtle and refreshing fragrance throughout the building. The complimentary shuttle service to and from Ekkamai BTS Station was particularly convenient. Arranging transportation was effortless—simply contacting the reception was enough for prompt pickup service. We booked two single-bed rooms, both located in Building 3, which offered a comfortable and quiet environment. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, and I would gladly consider staying here again. The hotel also enjoys an excellent location, particularly for those planning to visit rooftop bars, as there are many options in the immediate vicinity. Several are within comfortable walking distance, making it easy to explore the area without needing additional transportation.

Cons: The hotel placed a deposit hold on my credit card at check-in. However, after check-out, it took more than a week for the hold to be released, during which time I was unable to access those funds. While I understand that security deposits are standard practice, a quicker release would have been appreciated.

Pros: Location was great close to train and shopping centre.

A fabulous place to stay in Bangkok

Pros: The staff were all friendly and helpful. The building was very clean and the daily service kept our room very clean

Cons: We didn’t use the pool much as it didn’t get any sun

Great staff, location and price

Pros: Great location, price, and staff. Everyone was super accommodating and nice. The room was small but had everything you need, including a small fridge. There’s a microwave and coffee items available on the floor. The staff was lovely. The gym is okay and well equipped (treadmill, dumbbells from 1 kg to 25 kg, lat pulldown, chest press, leg curl and leg extension, rowing machine, and elliptical). The pool is beautiful, often too many loud kids, but that’s nothing the hotel can do.

Cons: Not much, the only thing worth mentioning is that WiFi never worked. Despite being told I’d have “super fast WiFi,” my room didn’t get a connection and I often had to use my own data. Also, kids were loud at the pool :P
