Best value for money in Bangkok

Pros: My go-to guesthouse to get over the jetlag or wind down before coming home. Very basic rooms but very clean and well looked after. 30 seconds from Khao San Rd but quiet enough to sleep. Good Wi-Fi and the staff are very helpful. The lady that speaks good English is absolutely lovely and very considerate too.

Pros: I am a bit biased in my review of this guest house since I've been coming here on and off for many years now and it suits my needs perfectly. Right next to Khao San Road but situated just far enough away down it's own little alley to be separated from the noise and bustle. It is a very basic guest house with a couple of different choices of room depending on your budget. The cheapest rooms really are just little prison cell rooms with a bed and a fan, reminiscent of the days in the 1990s when nearly all Khao San Accommodation was cheap and cheerful. In recent visits I've been able to splash out a bit more for aircon and Nat2 has several such choices that also include ensuite bathrooms etc. In short a peaceful, superbly located, very adequate budget guest house.
