Consistently Great Hotel

Pros: BU Place is a classic! Consistently good value and exceptional staff. Managers have been in place a long time and really take care of hotel. I have been returning there for years and always greeted with a big smile. It’s a pleasure to stay there.

Good value for money, Great location

Pros: The rooms and bathrooms were pretty big. The balconies also were pretty nice. There is a 7-Eleven and Cage Amazon next door so that pretty handy.

Cons: I wish there was at least a microwave in the room because the hotel doesn't have a kitchen. I didn't use the pool but my friend did and she felt it was a bit smaller.

Pros: The staff, Christmas decorations and overall look of the building was superb. The hotel rooms were modern, spacious and comfortable. The balcony had a great view of Bangkok city. Water was provided daily in bottles which came in handy being in a hot country.

Cons: Majority of the gym equipment was spot on such as treadmill, dumbbells etc however there was one machine that I think needs a bit of maintenance as when you use it, it may not be sturdy to hold your weight.

Pros: I have been staying here for several years. The pool in particular is extremely well run. Staff very kind & helpful.

Visiting old friends in the area

Pros: I have stayed at BU for extended periods over the last 10 years, it’s great to still see the same standards upheld.

Cons: I miss the restaurant and coffee shop that was part of the old BU Place. Such a shame as it served excellent Thai food

Pros: It was cleen and pool and gim were great. It is good value for your money.

Cons: We arrived at 11AM and they didn''t want to let us leave our 3 small bags until check in in 3 pm. Because the place is pretty isolated and we didn't want to go back near metro station we ended up buying early check in for for additional 25eur. That and sound isolation is not very good.

Good stay in Bangkok

Pros: We stayed for four nights in this hotel. It is a residence hotel, slightly different then what you would expect from a standard hotel. The room was extremely large, with a decent bathroom and balcony. It is situated on a narrow, busy street, with loads of street food and thai massage. The main attractions 5-10 km away. The closest would be Jodd Night Market, about 2 km away. By scooter easy to reach.

Cons: The furnishment is not as new as in the pictures depicted.

Pros: Great pool, and sauna gym and pool table, close to many good food and amazing massage up the road and a shuttle bus to the mrt every hour

Pros: The pool was lovely abd the staff were great. I loved being in the area but it isnt close to touristy stuff, but i liked that we were surroundsd by local olaces to eat and lots of street food

Cons: The beds were quite hard!
